- 100% Carbon Neutral (2015) – Achieving carbon neutrality means that the hotel has offset all their unavoidable greenhouse gas emissions are by purchasing carbon offsets from emission-reducing projects that offer positive effect on both local livelihoods and our shared environment. The carbon neutral certification is awarded by, and in accordance with, the third party EcoStay Certified™ program. Through EcoStay, the hotel tracks their operational energy use and waste. The carbon footprint is then measured using an industry standard methodology. The hotel’s carbon offset purchases are from projects with verified carbon savings, resulting in a net neutral carbon impact for the hotel.
